Design Details 

Contemporary Classic: Minimal yet expressive is the look we’re going for as intricately embroidered borders pop on the base fabric. The Felted Wool Cape Coat comes with a detachable belt and inner ties; belt it to accentuate your waistline or leave it undone for a relaxed fit.

Small Batch Production: Using a combination of felted wool (woven on a powerloom) with handwoven border and belt details, each piece brings together modern with traditional. Each Felted Wool Cape Coat uses 6.5 metres of the woven borders that are crafted by women artisans in their homes, using the smaller wooden looms. An artisan takes approximately one day to weave one metre of the border. Creating these designs employs and empowers them to leverage their ancestral skills passed down from generation to generation.

• Felted Cape Coat Dimensions: One size
.  Shoulders placed 46cm/18" apart. Sleeve length 57cm/22.5". Belt length: 2.25mts.
• Material: 100% wool.
• Gently hand wash (only if needed) using a mild detergent or shampoo and lukewarm water. Lay flat to dry and store folded in the environmentally safe dust bag that is provided. Use your bag as a shopper when you're wearing the Cape. Dry clean friendly too.
